0 Killer Robots at Nerdfest, Oh No Radio Show and Movie News
Orlando Nerdfest Approaches! You can see us at the Orlando Science Center on Sunday August 9th at 5 pm! Also, our first movie, The Killer Robots and the Battle for the Cosmic Potato will be screening that Sunday evening at 8 pm. The entire festival runs from Friday August 7th to Monday August 10th, so come check out some awesome bands and performers! Order Tickets Here!
In other news, Strobo and Auto ventured onto the Oh No Radio Show July 17th. You can check the podcast out here: leakedfrequency.podbean.com. Thanks to Owen, Ty and Tom for having us on. We enjoyed talking about the band and movie and listening in on their commentary of obscure and surreal current events.
And now, The Killer Robots! Crash and Burn movie news! All two thousand shots have been filmed, keyed, layered and graded. Killer Robots headquarters is littered with the remnants of hundreds of silver and black puppets, models and costumes. All that remains is a bit of tightening, pick-up shots, music, rocket butts, voice overs, and sound effects. Stay tuned!
0 The Killer Robots and the Revenge of the Hot Dog Mafia
Check out this acoustic version of Strobo’s song, Revenge of the Hot Dog Mafia. Afterwords, in a short sped-up interview, Strobo explains the meaning of the song and Auto tries to convince him that it’s about a surfing hot dog.
0 Megacon Memories and Movie Update
We had a great time at Megacon this past weekend! The Robots would like to thank Sparkplug McGee and Space Egypt for lending us their personages. Also, thanks to Rocket Roadie for rocketing us to the Con and flyering.
We even got to hang out with Lloyd Kaufman of Troma for a little bit. Max was able to get his thoughts on our first movie:
Lloyd – I would love to be in your first film!
Max – You are in our first film! You’re the President of the Universe.
Lloyd – Really? My people don’t tell me anything… when does it come out?
Max – 5 years ago! You were awesome!

Work continues on The Killer Robots! Crash and Burn. There are roughly 100 shots left to composite (out of 2000). It’s been a long journey and we look forward to taking it to the festival circuit.
In the meantime, check out this podcast advertisement with Strobo, Auto and a guest appearance by Strobo’s sister, Mary.
That’s all for now. See you in the future!
